For the Austin Install Fest

We can still use some help at the door, and help bringing the computers in. Because it's hot, I wouldn't want anyone to have to move computers for more than about 30 mins. We have slots between 1PM and 8PM. If you'd like to help, Send me a note if you're interested.. Volunteering has its benefits.

We could use more computers! We intend to prepare 200+ computers for donation. Let us take those extra computers off your hands!

Help serve as a mentor to new users.
The job is not done once the computers are delivered. There is a need for mentors to help the kids learn about computing and the Linux OS. We are currently putting a mentoring program in place. To be included in the mentor list, send a note to lynnbender@geekaustin.org.
